Build
We develop businesses, platforms and infrastructure where we identify a problem worth solving and believe an institutional solution can be built.
Building begins with a problem rather than a product. Where we find a question that existing structures answer poorly, we consider whether a new business, system or piece of infrastructure should exist — and whether we are in a position to create it.
We originate and develop such work internally, taking responsibility for its design, governance and early development.
Invest
We deploy our own capital selectively into businesses and strategic opportunities we understand and believe we can support over time.
Where we invest, we do so with our own capital and selectively, in businesses we understand and believe we can support responsibly.
DGF does not manage public investment capital and does not invite the public to invest through this website.
Own
We hold selected participations with a long-term owner's perspective, where governance, resilience and strategic relevance justify ownership.
Ownership, for us, is a responsibility measured in years rather than transactions. We may establish or hold strategic participations where long-term ownership has strategic value.
We own only what we can govern responsibly.
DGF is not a bank and does not provide credit, accept deposits, manage client investments or operate an investment fund. Activities requiring regulated financial services, external capital or specialised permissions are undertaken only through appropriately authorised structures and institutions.
