What We Do
Mandates, and the responsibility to carry them.
The House receives selected matters and assigns responsibility according to their nature. What follows describes distinct responsibilities within the House, not a single undifferentiated service offering.
Commercial and Transaction Responsibilities
- 01
Matter Constitution
Establishing the principal, objective, ownership, authority, perimeter and dependencies of the matter before execution begins.
Where a matter is distressed, contested or structurally sensitive, this begins by establishing what is actually true before determining what can be done.
- 02
Ownership and Structured Transfers
Preparing acquisitions, dispositions, corporate ownership changes and structured transfers involving enterprises, investment structures, investment property and commercial real assets.
Buy-side and sell-side matters are coordinated from initial assessment through preparation, counterparty engagement and completion. Where a transfer depends on consents, conditions or jurisdictional steps, those are identified and ordered before external activity begins.
- 03
Evidence and Administrative Reconstruction
Bringing fragmented financial, legal, operational and ownership information into an organised and usable evidential record.
Where the record is incomplete or disordered, reconstruction precedes any approach to external parties.
- 04
Transaction Readiness
Determining whether—and under what conditions—a matter is ready for financing consideration, market engagement, negotiation or execution.
This is a determination of readiness only. It is not investment advice, an assurance of financing, or any form of placement, and it does not bind or anticipate the decision of any institution or professional.
- 05
Counterparty Formation
Identifying, approaching and qualifying suitable buyers, sellers, financing sources, strategic participants and professional advisers on a controlled basis.
Capability is assessed by reference to observed behaviour under friction rather than to stated intention, because interest is not capability.
- 06
Execution Stewardship
Coordinating decisions, information, counterparties, external professionals and closing dependencies through completion and beyond.
Stewardship holds documentation, dependencies, timing and the settlement pathway to the point of completion and, in the understanding retained afterwards, beyond it.
A Dedicated Office
DGF Private Office
Selected private ownership, family, residence, estate, collection and continuity matters are carried through DGF Private Office. The Private Office holds the entrusted private relationship, suitability judgment and stewardship responsibility.
Where a private matter also requires commercial transaction preparation or execution, that responsibility is separately defined and appointed. Capital Services does not automatically acquire the private relationship, and Private Office does not automatically perform the commercial execution.
Selective Participation
DGF Equity
DGF Equity is a service designation of DGF & Co Capital Services GmbH. Where a matter warrants it, participation may be considered on a selective, matter-specific basis, alongside existing owners and subject to assessment, internal approval, capital availability and definitive documentation.
DGF Equity is not a separate legal entity, an investment fund, a committed pool of capital, an offer to invest, or a standing commitment to provide financing.
Primary Environments
Where these mandates ordinarily arise.
Cross-Border Real Assets
Real assets and asset-backed positions where ownership, jurisdiction and transfer conditions interact.
Private Ownership and Strategic Interests
Privately held ownership positions and strategic interests in which the participants matter as much as the terms. Where the primary responsibility concerns private suitability, family continuity, a residence, estate or collection, the matter is allocated to DGF Private Office.
Credit, Claims and Recovery
Credit positions, claims and recovery matters requiring evidence, sequence and calibrated coordination.
Other matters are considered only where the house possesses, or can assemble, the actual capability the matter requires. Where it cannot, the matter is declined.
DGF & Co Capital Services GmbH is not a bank and does not conduct deposit-taking, investment management or other regulated banking or investment services. Reserved financial, legal, tax, audit, valuation and other professional services remain the responsibility of appropriately authorised independent institutions and professionals.
