How We Work
Judgment before movement.
The house does not create movement merely because a matter is attractive or urgent. A matter is carried forward only after it has been read, established and judged capable of being carried.
The sequence below is followed in order. Each stage is a condition of the next, and a matter may be declined or held at any point within it.
The progression of a matter
- 01
Admission
A matter is considered in confidence and accepted only where DGF can assume a clear and useful responsibility.
Receipt is not acceptance. It creates no mandate, no client relationship and no obligation to respond or to proceed.
- 02
Situation Review
The present facts, principal objective, urgency, constraints and known dependencies are examined.
Where the record is incomplete or disordered, that condition is treated as the first fact about the matter rather than as an obstacle to be worked around.
- 03
Matter Constitution
Ownership, authority, evidence, counterparties and the perimeter of responsibility are brought into a coherent structure.
Scope, authority, conflicts, professional requirements and engagement terms are settled in writing.
- 04
Readiness Determination
DGF determines what must be completed before financing, market engagement, negotiation or execution can responsibly begin.
A matter that is attractive or urgent is not thereby executable. Where the conditions for movement do not exist and cannot be established, the matter is not advanced.
- 05
Allocation
Once a matter is accepted, responsibility is placed with the capability its nature requires. Commercial coordination, private stewardship and any capital participation remain distinct.
Where a matter contains more than one responsibility, the relevant scopes, authorities, records and engagement terms are separated before work proceeds.
- 06
Formation
The appropriate professional advisers, counterparties and execution route are assembled on a controlled basis.
Reserved determinations remain with the appropriately authorised independent professionals responsible for them. The house coordinates those gates; it does not replace them.
- 07
Coordinated Execution
Decisions, information, conditions and dependencies are stewarded through the agreed course of action.
Where conditions change, the matter is re-examined rather than pressed forward on the assumptions under which it began.
- 08
Continuity
Completion does not end responsibility. Remaining obligations, relationships, retained interests and unresolved dependencies continue to be followed.
What the house has learned of the matter and of those who brought it is retained, subject to confidentiality and data-protection requirements.
The House may preserve the relationship across matters. Responsibility for a particular mandate nevertheless remains with the office, capability and legal bearer identified for that mandate.
DGF & Co Capital Services GmbH is not a bank and does not conduct deposit-taking, investment management or other regulated banking or investment services. Reserved financial, legal, tax, audit, valuation and other professional services remain the responsibility of appropriately authorised independent institutions and professionals.
